Significant changes must be made to ensure that we are doing everything in our power to aid in the global effort for environmental change.

They are the voices that lead the movement towards being green. The day-to-day activities of the associates will make the greatest impact, and it is up to these team members to make the right decisions.

Reducing our carbon footprint

We promote sustainability through recycling, post consumer material use, green cleaning products, and linen reuse options to reduce our impact on the environment.

Some of our many carbon-reducing programs already in place include:

  • Switching to energy-efficient light bulbs
  • Reducing energy usage with sensors & timers
  • Recycling program
  • Implementing towel and linen reuse program
  • Installing low-flow showerheads, sinks & toilets
  • Utilizing energy-efficient equipment/appliances
  • Using non-toxic cleaning supplies
  • Providing reusable glass cups, mugs, dishes and napkins
  • Training program for staff to participate in environment-friendly practices
  • Going paperless by printing less and emailing reports, contracts, menus, etc.
  • Donating/recycling used equipment
  • Purchasing office supplies made from recycled materials whenever possible.
  • Decorating offices with plants to absorb indoor pollution
  • Guest involvement! Without giving our guests the knowledge and resources to help us, we can’t continue to progress in our mission. We know when to ask for help and we’re asking you now
